Horse No.2

A sculptural study in stillness. Horse No.2 captures the animal mid-bow — neck arched low, weight settled, unhurried. Cast in metal with a hand-applied patinated finish, the surface moves between warm amber, deep ochre, and darkened shadow tones. It reads differently in every light: warmer at noon, almost lacquered by evening.

The piece stands on a cast metal shadow base — an organic, pooled form that grounds the sculpture without framing it. Compact enough for a mantelpiece or library shelf. Considered enough to hold its own.
