Séraphine

Ecru wool, hand-woven, with a close flat weave and a density that holds its shape over years. Séraphine is straightforward in the best sense — no pattern, no texture gimmick, just good material laid well across a floor.

The colour is the point. Ecru is not white — it has warmth in it, a faint memory of the raw fibre. It works with stone, with plaster, with aged oak, with almost anything that hasn't tried too hard.

Available across four sizes, from a generous bedroom to a full drawing room.
