Loam

The glaze has cratered and pooled in the firing, leaving a surface that reads more geological than ceramic — pale stone interrupted by dark seams, the edges of each panel catching amber where the heat was highest. The opening is irregular, the silhouette asymmetric. Watertight. Intended primarily as a sculptural object.
