Strata

A large handbuilt stoneware vessel of considerable presence. The surface — fractured, mineral-glazed, geological in character — is the result of a process that cannot be repeated. No two firings produce the same result. This one will not be made again.

Proportioned for a console, pedestal, or deep shelf. Fully watertight. Intended primarily as a sculptural object.
