Against the Light

Some objects are chosen for what they hold. These are chosen for what they let through.

A collection of glass vessels — each one shaped by hand, each one different in the way light moves through it. Set on a sill, a shelf, a ledge. Left there. The colours shift with the hour: amber at noon, smoke by evening, something closer to water in between.

Nothing here announces itself. It simply changes the room.
